If I were you I'd just get the premium with nothing and skip the doo doo leather. with the extra money you save from not buying the limited you could buy all of those other options after market. Even if you went top shelf aftermarket you'd save a bunch of cheddar.

My dealer called me this evening and told me my car would be arriving in 5-6 business days so by next Wednesday I should have my car! He's going to call me tomorrow and let me know the VIN number and everything. I hope everything goes smoothly!

Lmao I'm sorry. I ordered/received my VON on 12/10/12. I spoke to a different dealership and he told me all the "tracking my shipment" would only irritate me further and to just wait it out. I ordered a WRBlue WRX Premium with 0 options. I have no idea how mine got here so fast but it's fine with me! Pics when it arrives!

So you ordered December 10th as in a month ago and your car is here. That would make that the fastest delivery in this thread. It takes a month for a boat to get from Japan to the US. Something doesn't add up.

I don't know what your smoking but the Q300 is a nice all around exhaust. And it does NOT drone. Trying sitting in a beater Honda with a cannon and cruise at 80mph, that drones. You get a soft but deep rumble on the hwy with the Q300. It's loud but nothing crazy, it totally brings out the boxer note on a higher level; people WILL know it's a Subaru is coming around the corner.

SPT on the other hand....not exactly the quality you'd want for how much it costs. And the sound/performance is really mediocre.

Remember, just because it sounds ideal on video that doesn't mean that's how they sound in reality. I learn that when I bought a Apexi WS2 for my 07 and it was DEAD QUIET.

What happened is someone had an eta of 1/07 but the person who ordered the car decided to cancel his order and purchase it from another dealership bc he or she didn't want to wait.

My wifes 2013 5 door impreza is a limited with leather, and it's fine. WTF do you want in a car? Not everyone feels the need to sit on still-moist cow-hide with fur on the underside.

The leather is fine, it's extremely comfortable, smells amazing, and with the seat heaters it gets warm in like 25sec. I can't wait to get my sedan with 4 sweet leather seats so I can ride around like some kind of Don Eladio.

This is subaru people, be glad you even have the choice of leather. I was so surprised they offered it in the STI, pleasently surprised.

Isn't that what people mean when they refer to droning on the highway? The somewhat loud, deep rumble? It's the bass of the exhaust that can get tiresome on long trips, at least that's what other people have said. It's not the driving around town I'm worried about at all--it's the 4-6 hours on the freeway I'm concerned about.

Yeah I saw an STi limited with leather at the dealer and thought it looked pretty nice. I was kinda disappointed they don't offer it on the hatch. That and the sunroof would have been nice upgrades.

Personally I think if the premium wrx comes with the sunroof, you would think ever version of the STI would. The leather I don't care about though, never been a big fan, like the base Sti seats more.

Put on Hold for 3 months
VIN: Nov 30th
ETA revised to December from Hold
ETA revised again to Jan 7th
ETA revised AGAIN to Jan 11th

So we will see what happens on Friday. Hopefully can pick it up next week on Wednesday if it comes in this Friday, but wont hold my breath. If so will be exactly 5 months to get car.

leather is quite nice and since you will be sitting on it every day it is actually very nice to have.

I agree. It was worth it for the $1,000 upgrade for HIDs and leather.
