Back home I would only see a Subaru every few days. I'm visiting some relatives in Connecticut and it seems like there's at least one in every driveway. Why must I be tortured so?!

I got confirmation that my order was placed today, ETA is late April/early May. The dealership said I might be able to get it sooner if they took the car out of the SNE allocation for April, but I wanted to wait a couple months to sell one of my cars and for mud season to be over.

Dropped off my lease today. Asked the salesman for an update and they dont have an ETA. SOA gave me a general ETA of May.

I am so anxious. Ive already bought some parts and am online shopping for more now.

Glad to say I'm finally out of here. I wish the drilled front bumper was the worst of it, but the dealership tried to prove every stereotype out there and made it a miserable experience overall. USAA was great the entire time as always. I hope to never set foot in that place again. Too frustrated to feel like driving today, but I'm sure tomorrow things will be different!

I doubt it would take them until August. I would guess June/July at the latest. Good luck with the wait, I'm here with you almost 5 weeks in!!!

It's beautiful my friend! I am sorry you had to go through all of that dealer hassle but it will be well worth it for years to come!

Finally got the car I've wanted for years. Driving that cobalt was enough for gas. This is a different world. I got tired of the front wheel drive. Now time to cruise.

a hint for those with hatches going to install exhaust...take the rubber hangers off the car, then put them on the muffler and hang it up like that. mid pipe..put on hanger first, then attatch to other pipes.

When i was shopping dealers around i came across a wrx that had 12 miles on it. The dealer said it had just got to their lot. The salesman told me that subaru randomly test drives some at the factory before shipping them out. A quality assurance thing im guessing.

Thanks! About to go for a drive and pretty excited about it. Also, the USAA car buying program representative wants to chat about my experience and that should be quite therapeutic

email all the dealers in the area, tell them you're emailing more than one dealership, once they email you back with the lowest price, email them with "xxx has a wrx for this price, can you beat it?," continue until you get a price you're happy with

Yep. I'm at week 8 today. No new info from my dealer. Hope I only have a few more weeks left...
