Oh man. 2-3 months wait on average I suppose that's pretty much normal.

I read through here a bit and saw people mention extra delay when ordering a car with navigation. Was this maybe just a temporary thing, or are we still seeing it?

Fingers crossed that it has gotten better. I guess the way I look at it though is that I wouldn't have gotten as good a deal buying a base with no accessories off a lot because only one dealer around me stocks them. With the order, took advantage of multiple bidders.

How long did you have to wait? Base premium limited?

I have been stalking this thread for months but havent been able to determine frequency of boats coming in.

A large batch of STis made arrived at my dealer yesterday (CitySide) and there are (2) STis still in transit (mine and another). Are these boats coming in ~1/month?

Should I expect mine in ~4 weeks?

Hmm....I'm not sure. I thought that it was about 1 per month but I just talked to my salesman at Ramsey Subaru in north Jersey and he said he has another allocation coming in on the last week of this month. So maybe Subaru stepped up production and are sending more then 1 boat now??? IDK I'm a little on their shipping process.

Can anyone else confirm if its more then one boat or if their dealer is getting another allocation in March?

Awaiting its arrival.....

Well I bit the bullet. This will be my 3rd suby. First was a '01 2.5rs with a wrx motor swap, then after a 6 year hiatus I picked up a '02 wrx wagon. Sold that one about 4 months ago. Been trolling this thread and the '11-'12 picture thread and I couldn't take it any more. I work for a sonic automotive dealership (BMW of chattanooga) and luckily there is one Subaru dealership in our network (hatfield Subaru in Columbus, oh). So needless to say got a great deal on the '13 DGM wrx premium hatch. Received my VON about 10 min after placing the order. Larry Scott was extremely helpful. Now the extremely agonizing wait begins. Just glad I was able to get the order in before they stop taking them for the 2013. Which is apparently at the end of this month. Good luck to everyone else.

Got a call from my dealer today and he confirmed the allocation and sent me a picture of the window sticker :-)

He estimated 6-8 weeks for arrival, but should have a more exact estimate once the full VIN comes in (was told it should be this week).

We ordered the same time.

I hope my Subaru's engine gets mixed up with yours

But siriusly, I called my dealer the other day. He said May is when they have it scheduled; however, to plan for an earlier arrival. He stated most vehicles have been coming in earlier.

I said: I'll hope for April and plan for may

I hope yours gets here early too

Quick question for you or anyone who could chime in (I searched around but couldn't really find an answer.) Does the STI short shifter kit and bushing make a big improvement in shift feel in the STI? Or does it just reduce the throw?

I don't mind long throws, but I'm a freaking shift feel quality snob so I'll take any improvement I can get.

They make a decent improvement... But for the money it's not The smartest investment. You're better off going with a kartboy IMO

Yea it would be a good idea to go stock for a while then look for the best of the aftermarket. I'd be able to compare that way. Thanks.

I've been told there is noticeable improvement over stock. I wouldn't have done it if I was going to pay above invoice for the parts. Given the price I got and the ease of just getting it from the start, I went that route.

If you're a self-described snob, or already have the car, everything I've read would suggest the kartboy is a better choice.

I'm going TWM. I had their shifter on my Si and it was incredible. I also heard the kartboy is real noisy.

I lucked out...I went to order my car and found out that what I want is coming in today or tomorrow. 2013 STi SWP will be mine tomorrow, and I only have to drive an hour to pick it up.
