Car should arrive on transport tomorrow. Paperwork is already signed. So once it hits the ground, I'm grabbing the keys and driving off into the sunset.

I'm currently at 168 miles. I didn't drive the car all weekend since I didn't take it to the Dells. I couldn't wait to get home yesterday to drive it again.

Hit a thousand miles this weekend and went TP stage one. I highly recommend it, car feels like it should come like that from the factory. Did logs and had 0 knock. Will do more logging in a few hundred miles to be sure

Why did you wait till after break in before going to TP, isn't the point to get rid of the lean stock tune? Why not do it right away?

Because I didn't run the car hard prior to break in for the tune to really be much of a factor. I wanted to wait to flash until I could do proper logging to insure the new map didnt have anything funky going on.

Got the call!

Car showed up this morning. Just waiting for them to do the pre-delivery inspection and I'll go down and sign the paperwork.

I don't think I've ever been more excited.

Pics later tonight!

Now if I could just get the 265/35s on 18x9.5 38 I bought to fit nicely without adding a stupid amount of camber. Then I'll be read for pics. Any idea where we would want to go?

Went in last week and grabbed a white 2013 STi that was listed as in transport. Can't wait for it to get here.

Hey guys, clear something up for me - is it possible to order an STI (2013/2014) sedan without a wing? I was led to believe that this was possible but now I have a sales guy telling me they can't do that. Appreciate if you guys could clear this up for me

Not possible. You however could sweet talk your salesman into letting you trade the sti trunk for a wrx trunk if they have one in the same color on the lot.

Yeah they won't do that However, there is a NESIC trunk swap thread and it looks like there are no shortage of people for looking for STI trunks so I'm guessing it shouldn't be much of a problem for me to swap with someone?

If you make it sound like he's going to be on the winning end of the bargain, it should be an easy swap. Just tell him he can upcharge some dude that can't afford a STI but wants the look on the WRX with a STI spoiler.

Heh... I tired both options and my dealer firmly said no to both.

Man... what an awesome day. Delivery of my car went smoothly. Got everything finished up around 4:00. Then proceeded to drive around until 9:00. Since I'm heading out of town for a few days, I dropped it at a friends auto body shop to tint the windows and clear bra it while I'm away.

The car is amazing. Loves to rev up to that (recommended) 4k mark quickly in 1st and 2nd. Handles great too. It's going to be hard to keep driving it somewhat mildly for another 900 miles. STS and SPT exhaust were great additions as well. The SPT exhaust has great sound and is plenty loud without being completely obnoxious.

My flight is at 6:00am tomorrow morning so I'll have to figure out posting pictures when I get back. Sorry dudes. Hang in there, it is very much so worth the wait.
