Being like most people will not be a problem here in the South. I hardly ever see a Subaru.

My ETA still shows November, but finding out on 9/31 my car was in the states, and at the rail yard awaiting shipment, it will certainly get here a lot sooner. Just waiting on the call.

If you're ETA is still November how'd you find out its at a rail yard?

I ordered a SWP Premium Hatch on 8/15 without navi and my ETA is still Nov. I've given up trying to figure out how they decide which orders to fill first.

I had called SoA, and they had a VIN for me, but had no more info, other than my car was built. They suggested I call my dealer, and have them check with the regional guy, that they would have more info than what SoA had access to.

I talked to my salesman, and he said the most up to date info he had, was that it was at the rail yard. That info could have been up to date, or a week old.

All-seasons came today. I know... they're not blizzaks, blasphemy. Anyway 235/45r17's look sort of monstrous for some reason, but in a good way of course.

Yes, that's my boy peeking from his makeshift hideout. He made sure I laid them in tunnel format as well.

Plus he did awesome at the dentist so made a pit stop at Target on the way home for a new toy... $0.97

I ordered nav but have not taken delivery yet. Got a VIN 2 weeks ago and the dealer said 7-10 days. Still waiting. Hasn't even hit the port yet. SWP STi sedan with nav ordered on 8/8. I have not seen anyone with nav receive their car yet.

Wanted WRB or PBP, but my mother owns a MB C320 coupe in blue, and one of my older brother's purchased a 2013 5.0 in deep impact blue.

So having a 3rd blue colored car in the driveway wasn't going to fly. I opted for the Dark Grey Metallic. It seems as if (atleast for the STi's) most people are not ordering DGM from what I've seen on the forums. Let alone the fact that when I want to show my friends what car I am getting, I can never find a good picture of a DGM STi base sedan lmao!

I guess I'll have to wait till the 15th to show 'em!

What info do you need in order to call SoA and get an update on the vehicle? I do not have a VON. I have an ETA of "December" even though the estimate was six to eight weeks, four weeks ago.

You need your VON, which should have been generated when your dealer entered your order. Get your VON from your dealer.

Are only going to run the all seasons in the winter?

Haha males cannot live w/o toys in the whole life. Dosen't matter he is a boy or a man.

Why don't go 225/40/17? I even search for 215/45/17 for winter usage.

Also curious. I ended up getting a set of new blizzaks second hand for CHEAP but it only snows hard for about 2 months out of the year in chicago so I had originally thought about some heavy all-seasons instead that I would have a little more balance in late fall / early spring. But then my other thought was run all season year round (that's what they're for, right!?) and save the OEM summers for autocross 'til they burn off and get replaced with something a little more meaty.

5 DAYS FOR ME.

All seasons are going to be year round, I'm selling the summer tires. I realize that's unpopular around here, for sure. The WRX is going to be a practical, fun, family hauling daily driver for me. (Putting it in perspective, it was about tied with a Camry SE V6 which wears Touring all-seasons in FWD setup). Also my friend has an 03 WRX with all-seasons and pushes that thing harder around hilly turns than I'd ever dream of. I've done okay with FWD all-season setups in the past 13 southern PA winters, which are generally pretty tame. Cost/benefit of split tires just doesn't add up for my situation. Though I'm in no way faulting split summer/winter tires, it's clearly the better performing route.

I'll have the summer Dunlops on there for a few days until I get the all-seasons mounted. If I noticed a significant performance decline I'll reconsider.

Do they have a WRX version for like $0.75? I can't really see paying the higher price for the STi one since I'm not going to take it to the local slot track to race it.

I was always planning on get a winter set-up but not sure about tires w/ or w/o rims. Ended up finding a nice set of gunmetal 02/03 wrx rims with Firestone Winterforce tires on them that look brand new. Only thing left for me is to decide which style red vinyl to buy for the rear tail lights...can't decide between covering up the turn signal or not. 5 days for me as well (hopefully).

Ah yes, taillight vinyl...thanks for reminding me! I gotta get on that too! Trying to get everything in order so that when she arrives it's all ready to go!
