Default 2012 WRX stage 1 logs (first time)

Hey everyone, just flashed stage 1 today, have about 30 miles on the stage 1 tune before doing these data logs, about 5900 miles on the car all together. All logs were taken during a 15-20 time frame, around 8:45pm. Using shell 93 octane gas.

Seems like I had some fine knock that learned itself away throughout the logs. During log 4 I had forgot to stop logging so I shifted into 4th and then 5th before realizing.

Looks like the boost may be on the low side. If you can take a look and tell me what you think id appreciate it. Hope everything is OK.

Is the boost low enough to warrant trying the high WG map? Do a few more logs first? Earlier in the day during live data highest boost was 16.1. Thanks in advance.

i would try the hgw map but keep an eye on boost so you dont overboost. otherwise, the logs look good

+1 Logs look good. If you want to try the HWG map just do another log, then perhaps do a short log of where you might be going 100% in 4th or 5th gear to assure you wouldn't be overboosting.

As others have stated, you can give the high wastegate map a try to improve boost/boost response. Take some additional logs if you do.

Thanks guys, other than the boost everything else was ok right.

Quick question, how much does humidity play a roll in boost levels? Reason i ask is because when these logs were taken it was 75% humidity, today is supposed to be around the same 75%-80% as well as for tomorrow. Should I wait till it drops some or it doesnt really matter? Thanks again.

Temperature can definitely have an impact on boost response. If you are switching to a high wastegate map in the summer, you would want to do some additional logging when it cools off just to make sure you are not then overboosting. But, generally, it is not a problem.
