Default 275 on 8in BBS

Has anyone ran a 275 with an 8in BBS on a GD Sti? I have coilovers so that should clear up some space. So Im just curious if anyone's had any rubbing or clearance issues.
Much appreciated.

275 what? There are plenty of Auto-X guys running that sort of size in the Hoosier A6's. I am pretty sure that is too wide for a street tire on an 8" though. Sidewalls would be all out of shape.

Depend on the tire you can go as far as a 255 for auto-x purposes and still get good response from the tire. For street driving yeah, 245 would be about the widest you want to go on 8".

For street use, a tire that big is way too big anyways regardless of the wheel it's on.
