Default vf39 no tune

Well im thinking my stock turbo on my 04 is shot its leaking oil when first tuned it was pushung 16.5 psi no leaks at all now its at 9 psi i inspected the turbo no shaft play at all just oil. Now my question is can i put on my vf39 on with out a tune? Im currently stage 2 also no injectors yet or fuel pump for the upgrade

Are you certain it's the turbo? Perhaps the car is actually in limp mode or something in your boost control system is broken.

Im not sure at all the whole time i thought it was but did a boost leak and no leaks at all how woild i know im on limp mode? Even when phoung tuned me at 16.5 psi then it dropped to 12 then barley hitting 9 thats why i think ita the turbo

Reset the ECU and see if the boost goes back to normal. If it does, you were in limp mode. It will only be a matter of time until the IAM drops back down and lowers the boost again.

Yea man i did that after i install a catless uppipe and no go same issue when i took it to u for the boost leak and it was fine so i think its the turbo but the turbo looked fine :/ wat else can i do?

no it happened maybe 6-8 months ago roughly just sucks that i cant get full boost like it was before so i posted this up hoping someone knows what i can do.
