Default Anyone know where I could get these Rims?

They are the stock rims on the 01-04 WRX in Austrailia. They look almost exactly like the stock 16" rims in the US but are 17". I want them but can only find them on the Austrailian Ebay and no one ships to the US. Anyone know where I could find a set of these in good shape?

You know they are only 17x7? With your '04 rex I wouldn't go narrower then 7.5 and preferably 8.

the stock 16" rims are 6.5" wide. thats quite a jump you are suggesting. whats wrong with 7" wide rims? wouldn't a wider rim have a chance to rub?

No, if you but properly fitting wheels.

17x8 +48 w/ 235/40/17 and done.

Start your own thread. Actually, don't in this case, because there are a ton of pics around this site and you can decide for yourself.

here is the straight smack

a 17x8 +42 - +50 with a 235/40....or 225/45...is the best bet for a gd wrx unless it is too low

i would suggest the rpf1 or the fno1rc as the best bang for the buck and light

ive been doing this for years and this is a conclusion based on lots and lots of research

if there was a decent, light, 17x8 1/2....that would be better...but there isnt one made anymore

Is this your recommendation for combination racing/driving on the road or for just racing?

Thanks for your expertise.
