Nothing big, just a cam seal leaking and I don't want to keep risking driving it around. Oil and timing belt don't mix.

That's a vague question.... please include some sort of a crude wiring diagram or pictures of how you're hooking them up at the least and I will try to help you... PM me.

Have you tried simply hitting the positive / negative to the battery to make sure the horns function first? Don't wanna troubleshoot wiring if the horns themselves don't even work.

You would also probably get better answers in a thread meant for asking questions like this instead of the meet thread.

If this was the Z, I'd tell you to take it to Custom Car Care up in Yorktown. They fixed mine. It's pitiful, I'd probably still be able to trouble shoot issues with a Z faster than I can with the WRX and I've had the WRX almost 3 years and sold the Z 2 years ago after having it for 2.5 years.

No it is the STi that's leaking, but I'm changing the seals and the timing belt along with everything else that come in the complete Gates kit this weekend.

The Z runs like a champ, only prob with it was a crappy job done by a shop that I've vowed to never go to again and do things myself from now on.

'04 Touring.

Late '04 built in July '04 so after the whole tire feathering issues. It had the 35th anniversary edition wheels on it though.

That's cool, I find it funny how many WRX/STi owners are previous Z/G owners. What made you give yours up and pick up the WRX

Snow. I suffered through two snow storms and said, "**** this ****." And the Z was moody. I spent a lot of money, sweat, blood, and tears getting it in great running condition and burnt myself out on it. Plus all the mods on it and I put down a whole whopping 265hp on the dyno. I could have saved all of that, thrown a turbo on and had 300+ but the cost of boost and the general modding of it was exorbitant. Plus as a cyclist and single dog owner, it was impractical. I managed all of that for much less with the WRX. I do, however, miss the HELL out of RWD.

Pm me what all you did to it, don't want to continue on our discussion and someone get upset with us, lol. But yeah RWD is a lot of fun to play with, but AWD is just.....idk how to put it....it's nice having it and knowing that you push your car beyond your own limits that you had ever experienced with WRD. I've hit some pretty sharp curves with the STi way harder and faster than I would ever feel comfortable with in the Z with a fresh set of tires on. But then again the walking rear end is almost always a fun and pleasant surprise.

Those hoods are great... Looking. Not very functional though on a stock top mount. That and I have a condition known as UH-OCD... Under the Hood Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. If it rained I would weep the tears of a thousand dead Indians just thinking about making it clean again. Still looks dope though. If they came with mounting points for an oem splitter for the scoop I'd consider one.
