Default Need a road to log on - Mesa

Do you guys know of any place near Mesa (McKellips and Stapley) that I can do some third gear pulls and not end up in jail?

I know I could go all the way out to Queen Creek where I go when Mark tunes my car - but I was hoping for something closer. That's an hour there and back, at least.

I'm in an ej207 with the stock 5spd so third gear puts me at 110+.

thanks!

I was going to say price road (either way) from around southern to Elliot, but 110 will not work. My final drive is around 4.11 and I have a 05 sti. Thus third for me tops around 60 or 70 haha. I say go 202 or 60 on ramps, as far out as you can, unfortunately.

after you pass the 202 off ramps on the 60 heading east there is a pretty long off ramp, not sure which one but if you start the pull early you should have some decent space.

Maybe try Power road between Saguaro lake and the 87, or Ellsworth/Usery pass road.

I'm not sure if I have the balls to go 110 on any freeway in town....I think I'd rather stick to a desolate side road...

02blkwagn19 - I think I may try that area out - or even the road to Usery Pass - though I think that might be too "bumpy"....

This is true but there's cops on the weekend around there to watch the river crowd and that bridge about a mile north of Thomas has a horrible bump.
