I found a 93 legacy that is currently junked, needs a salvaged title, left fender, hood, left headlight, etc. My buddy has a junk yard, which is why I'm able to buy through him for such cars, I just need to do the work and get the car reinspected.
I can buy the parts to get her back on the road for $300, plus another $200 for the enhanced inspection and paperwork, would be about 2 months of time though. Just trying to judge the value of the car, if I can get it for the $500 range... So from you guys thoughts? Is there a downside to this? Here is the car btw: http://www.qcsadirect.com/Inventory....fts=&so=5&bn=0

Also, I did a vin check on the car, its a 3 owner, 1st owner owned the car for 13 years, then traded it in on another subaru, then that subaru dealer put car up for auction, something happened on the auction lot, looks like it was run into, I dunno.
Car listed as running and driving, has keys, has cat, etc. And no I'm not wanting to sell, just looking for an evaluation. Possible turning this into a rally-x car for some fun. |
