That's a pretty clever combination of parts for the rear brakes. Is the inner diameter of the drum portion the same on the 300ZX rotors, or is the parking brake no longer functional?

And you may have covered it elsewhere, but how are you doing the 5x114.3 conversion up front?

We have not worked on the parking brake yet but the Subaru and Nissan are the same basic setup and even use some of the same springs. We are going to test fit some Nissan brake shoes and see how the setup works.

We have not stated work on the front yet but are going to try out some 08 STi Spindles as well as tribeca spindles and work our way from there.

I'm running nissan 240 calipers on the rear of mine, they have built in ebrakes on the caliper... Also fit the wrx rotor as well. No drum ebrake setup to fool with.

Late to the party but sub'd on this one now. I'm about to commit myself to swapping over to ls family engines, and am very glad to see another lgt going this route. This thread alone may help me avoid some mistakes!

Been shopping and I think I'm going to go with the l33, and swap out to stock z06 cam, ls2 intake and FEADs. Will be doing T56 like you. I'm glad for the info you posted regarding the r200 swap items; I was tryimg to loosely plan out rear end options.

Are you on ls1tech?

Don't know what happened to this guy.... Bought some parts from him several months ago and he never shipped them, ended up doing a paypal claim and getting a refund. So doubt this car is even finished or going to be finished, he just dropped out.

Sorry about that. I lost track of some stuff that was going on. If I owe you anything, please shoot me a PM and I will be glad to take care of it. I just now have some time to get back on here and am cleaning up the PM's.

The project is in storage at the moment as I bought a house and did a bunch of remodeling and am planning to get back to it soon once my garage construction is completed.

Received some 350Z diff bushings so we were able to finish the diff mounts for the most part. Also test fitted the J35 axles and they lined up and were able to be tightened down without issue.

Also started working on the rear trans mount and tacked it into place
