I have a set of 235/40/18 on my wife's '11 rex. Got them at the beginning of the year so it's been 9 months now. Traction has been excellent. These have been some of the stickiest tires both dry and wet I've had in 10 years on a rex for a daily driver, though I can't comment on autox expectations. Ride and comfort great. Hopefully we will get 60K miles. It seems most tires on these cars last typically last us 10-12K. It was a VERY mild winter so we saw no snow or ice to try them with either.

Sorry you feel that way Scotty. There are a couple of threads marketing the tires that sound VERY biased, maybe Gary p and Kenny u are funded by nitto? Nothing useful in either thread except empty "update" bumps.

We will have to start a new one in a few months to review winter handling as there hasnt been any posted.

Is Nitto offering a discount if you post reviews or something?

It's more financial support rather than giving a ****.

It seems the Mods are allowing these reviews as a requirement of the sponsor Nitto. I just saw the sticky here requiring a review and follow ups must be posted. You get a set of free tires as compensation.

Just FYI, my opinion above costs me personally $600+ as an actual consumer of the product. Wish Nitto had offered this several months earlier

Well I didn't get a free set either so the $600+ came from my pocket

Seems like a good place for some "legitimate posts".
