Default Bought car with wrong motor

I bought a used 05 Subaru Impreza 2.5rs with 148k on it from a private owner. the owner said the motor was replace recently and that it runs great. after i did a thorough inspection of the car i eventually bought it. a few days later while driving to school the check engine came on and thats were my long search for the problem began. after weeks of trying find out what the problem was i finally found out. the original motor that comes from the factory is an EJ253. the motor thats in the car now is an EJ251. the mechanic who did the motor swap neglected to also swap the intake manifold and wiring harness. so now im left with an unfixable PO401 code and loose ground wires every were.
i have lots of photos and alot more details about my predicament

Loose ground wires are not an issue (Other than being loose) just get a picture of an 01 or so 2.5rs and connect them in the relative location.

As for the P0401, look online for how to "trick" the system. There's lots of fixes for EGR neutering.
