The rear looks like an hybrid between a Kia an a Lexus. The front Smiley face is still there. The hatch looks awfully like a Subaru hatch.

The Tesla gave birth to a baby 3.

Nice lines. Better than the current waves on the door panels. uke:

Really digging the look of the hatch and the interior. Mazda, please make a Mazdaspeed version of this car as a hatch, with a better shifting/feeling transmission that lives up to the Mazda/Miata/RX-8 history of great transmission feel/operation, and don't ruin the interior with the same crap you did to the previous generation MS3. Thank you.

I really like the hatch, but with that sloping rear window,I see a lot of Infiniti FX35.

Still both cars look amazing with those long hoods.

I'm really liking these kind of titanium shades on cars. Makes them look ultra classy to me. Ever looked at bently's flying spur configuration tool? It's 50 shades of gray for color choices .

Dammit! Beat me toooooo eeeeeettttt!

All I see is FX in that hatch. Looks good, especially in that red color.

GTI though, there is no doubt for my next car. Unless Mazda can fit a DSG with a fat torque turbo motor...

The rear of the hatch reminds me of the B9 Tribeca/Alfa Romeo Kamal.

Mazda probably owes a great deal of debt to this vehicle as it has pretty much bed a solid seller since its introduction. The hatch has been my preferred variation throughout. The sedan looks better this time around though.

Did you expect to be? This is a cheap compact we are looking at here.

For what it is, I like it. But I probably won't buy one. I still have my old cheap compact car and don't need another.

I'm a sedan guy but I prefer the hatch. There is something wrong with the sedan proportions. The rear/trunk area looks really short and stubby compared to the rest of the car almost like they decided the car was too long and cut the trunk in half at the last minute.

I guess times have changed.

Back then people would have said it looks like Daewoo hatch.

Who knew back then Daewoo actually had the hatch form right.

I'll have to see this in person. I'd like to trade in my wifes 2010 2.5 three this year, but I'd like to see an engine in the 210-230 horse figures.

Won't happen. Sorry, but I bet the best you get is the 2.5 liter 185 hp version. But it will get great mileage for that level of power.

No, but every comment on here says it is "sexy", especially the original hatch thread. I don't see it.

Probably compounded by reading the corvette thread and everyone says it is ugly.

i liked the new facia the 6 is sporting so this makes it all the better. it's missing the same fender arches the new 6 has... which is why i like it so much. but mazda 3's have always been cool.

Compared to the current 3 or anything else currently in the econo-segment, this new 3 is dripping with hot jungle sex. This design language looks good in these proportions. Not so much with the 6. 6 wagon is a different story...
