Default Anyone run 245/45r18

I have a set of 245/45r18 AVID EnVIGOR on 18" +35 that I got for a steal. I know I need a roll and maybe negative camber at the rear.

I don't see anyone running 245/45. Would it be more better to sell these and go for 245/40 or run what I brung..brang..have.

Depending on you car and not surprisingly, your blank vehicle info, you may even need a 245/35, but there's no way we can know.

The car is bone stock minus LED bulbs everywhere and a roof rack. The question was more from a look standpoint I guess. I was looking for some pictures if anyone was running this size. I put the wheels with the aforementioned tires on and it raised the car about an inch, which doesn't bother me. I use the car and it's AWD (the roof rack is for a 16' aluminum canoe). Going a different direction with wheels and tires isn't something that I care about either, especially with this craze of "poke" and tires that are way too narrow. To each their own though, you ride is an extension of you.
With these wheels and tires raising the car I would like to eventually (a year or two) lower the car to get it back to a stock height. Or maybe use these tires up go to a 40 series, and still lower it. Maybe I'll have triplets and have sell it and get a Mini-van....who knows.

Yes, the tire is too tall, regardless of looks, your car wants a 245/35/18. Your speedo will be off, your mileage will be off, etc.

Alright, alright....you guys can have my tires. You don't have to talk me out of them any more.

Colin1thru7- how much will the ride quality suffer? Quality, not performance. I have had cars with a 40 series tire and it was very noticeable. Given, they were like a 215/40R16, but that seems to me to probably be about as much sidewall as a 245/35R18.

What are you coming from? Factory 205/55/16? If so then, yes, comfort will suffer.

What are the wheel specs? Assuming they're 18x9 et35.

If they're an 18x8 or something, save some money and get a tire that's less wide, most 245/35 tires are quite pricey.
