Travis's (yellow bugeye) brother does body work out of a shop on Norwich Street. Not really set up as a fully functional body shop yet, but he has the basics there and was willing to help out.

a few updates. got bored, put the sti/wing trunk back on again. i love wingless, but whenever i'm wingless i feel like something is missing, when the sti wing is on i get tired of it quick...
decided to go white with the wheels. loving the look so far. i put a decent amount of clear on them to fight brake dust, but we'll see how long they stay that way, just a few days of driving and the dust is showing. I really just did it because I was bored. Let me know what you think. car needed a bath, the wheels were too bright! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

You should do a limited trunk lip. That will do the trick for the trunk issue
![]() Btw love white on white, also what do you use to space the hood on the hinges? |

This competition clutch has been kind of a pain, doesn't chatter as much as the 6 puck did, but when it does it's super loud, almost sounds like the whole tranny is shaking. and in reverse it always burns, no matter how many different ways i try to engage it. I have about 2k miles on it now, broke it in exactly how CC said to....
I have thought about the limited lip. eventually something subtle like that will go on the wingless trunk, or a do-luck cf would help bring the black all across the top of the car. I used just random spacers from the hardware section at lowes for the hinges, they came in 1/2" 1" or 1.5"... i did the 1" |

Looks great I almost ended up getting a white one myself but found a deal on a blue that i just couldnt pass up! Maybe its just me but on all of the white ones I have seen, the bottom section of the spoiler always seems to be a faded white compared to the top section of the spoiler....

http://www.importatlanta.com/forums/...-your-car.html but this is my daily driver, i have a fairly short commute to work, don't really "race" and i'm not as worried about high speed air flow etc. keep the comments coming. |

i was wondering because under hood heat is a suby enemy and ive always thought about getting an aftermarket hood or adding vents to the stocker..

between the vents in my hood, (which I usually leave the covers on to keep water out) and the spacers, I do notice some temp differences. If you can find someone with one of the temp readers, do some trial and error. The southeaset here (as you know in jax) is brutal in the summer, I figured anything would help.

did some messing around yesterday... took the stencil I used to spray the FMIC, laid it down on some cf vinyl scraps I had laying around, cut them out and applied... Again, I was bored, and it's removable, so we'll see how long it stays likes this.

installed hood dampers, and i know the dampers raise the hood higher than oem, these go like too far... 90 degrees. it is nice to have the hood prop stick out of the way, and easier to work under the hood, but this goes up so high its hard to reach to close.
![]() i started a thread on them.. someone said i installed them backwards and that could affect the way the hood is held. i re-read the installation instructions, it does show it goes the other way, so i flipped them around, still go all the way up. |

went back to wingless, and got some "bottomline" replica skirts. i couldnt justify spending 700 on the cf ones, although they would have gone well with my car.
![]() the fit is great and the quality seems very good. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

white wasn't the greatest choice. i have to clean them pretty often. they do clean up well though, so i can go a few days without worrying about them being "stained" with brake dust. eventually I'll get some aftermarket wheels that have a better finish on them.
