I hope I get the funds for this before it closes. I was waiting for this group buy but clearly wasn't ready.

Be sure to spread the word so that the price drops when you are ready to jump in.

The MAW TGV riser is a really nice piece. I had to port the inner holes on my intake manifold, which was easy to do using a Dremel Tool with a reamer bit. You need take very little off. DO NOT drill-out the hole using a bigger drill.

I also have an original Perrin turbo intake tube that's been on the car for seven years w/o any problems what-so-ever.

Regardless, both of these items are great pieces and TiC is an excellent vendor. Take advantage of this kind of group-buy because prices can and most certainly will go up over time.

This would pop up just a few weeks after buying both of these items separately... lol

What a giant deal though!

Guys/Girls get in on this! I just finished up on an identical install. Even if you do end up having to slot the holes in the intake, it's not a big deal. The Perrin inlet was a breeze to install compared to the other (3 letter name) inlet I had prior.

I can't stress enough how much cooler my intake manifold is! After idling for about 15min, while tuning for larger injectors, the IM was still just slightly warm to the touch. Similar scenario before it would have been hella hot!

One very important thing to remember. DO NOT torque these to factory spec!! TiC/MAW suggests 6ft/lbs, not 18 in the FSM.

Thanks again TiC for yet another wonderful piece, and for those who can get in on this, an AMAZING price!! I almost want to buy another set just to hang on the wall! :-)

Take advantage of this! I'm for leading-edge and innovation and the MAW TGV deletes fit this bill.

Why remove your OEM TGV's to gut, clean-up, plug, and then reinstall, whether you do the work or have it done for you? Why have more downtime?

Since the MAW TGV deletes are not metal, they act as their own isolators between the block and the intake manifold, which helps to effectively lower the intake temperature.

I had my car retuned a few weeks ago during the hottest week of July in our area. The modifications were the MAW TGV deletes and an Ixiz Concept EBCS.

At approximately 95-degrees-F and 65% humidity, on a Mustang Dynamometer, with the temps climbing, with the stock TD-04, the car churned out 232 whp and 316 wtq. The car just kept getting better and better each pull as it got hotter and hotter, and we did a conservative tune to maintain the integrity of it as a daily-driver.

Previous figures were 228 whp and 297 wtq at a moderately cooler temperature and equivalent humidity, with the rest of the engine / drivetrain is as it was then, exclusive of the TGV delete and ECBS of course. An effective incremental increase in whp, but a moderate increase of approximately 20 points with respect to wtq (+/-).

Was it the TGV delete or a combination of it and the EBCS? I think that the TGV delete acted as an isolator and allowed for better and better (increasing output) as the temperature continued to climb: ambient temp + garage bay acting as an effective insulator / temp retainer + engine heat. You be the judge.

A good percentage of what's in/on my car came from Turn in Concepts. There's a reason for this.

Seriously, if you want a true performance gain item, consider the MAW TGV deletes and consider TiC as your vendor.

Hi, love the design. However, I hate plastic (or "composite" if you will) - my European cars have a bunch of plastic junk in the engine bay and after a few years in the Texas heat everything becomes brittle and breaks if I look at it funny.

Based on previous owners that have had this composite TGV for a while and also live in hot climates (like...Texas) - how well are they holding up?
