Default Does zeroing Knock Correction Advance Max affect IAM?

Hey quick question. My IAM is at 8 and the only thing is I removed timing from my Base Timing Map and zero'd out my Knock Correction Advance Max map. I'm thinking that by Zeroing out the Knock Correction Advance Max map is causing my IAM to sit at 8 and not move up to 16. I was upping my boost and felt it would be smart to smooth out my Base Timing map/Zero the Knock Correction Advance Max map and slowly introduce timing back.

I didn't surpass 300gs but I did peg 4.71v from the MAF sensor (I upped the voltage to which it throws a check engine though for the MAF voltage.

Main question would be, is zeroing out the Advance MAX map affect IAM and its ability to increase? If so what parameters do I have to change to make my IAM go to 16. Pretend i'm not knocking for simplicity sakes.

Thanks

Zeroing the kca table is probably causing you issues with knock(high egt's), that's way too much timing to pull out for tuning your boost.

Furthermore, if you still have the KC table at zero, IAM at 8 isn't going to change anything except the possibility of switching to IAM failsafe fuel/boost maps.

You also need to keep in mind that by flattening the KCA table, you have changed the shape of the total timing map unless you back-calculated the base timing from total timing using a spreadsheet such as Airboy's

Advanced Max Table isn't fully removed. Just reduced.
