Default Quick oil question (I did search)

I have read endless treads about what oil to run in the turbo motors but does it really matter as much for the NA crowd?

For reference I am driving an 09 Imp w/70kmi on the clock and have been using Castrol 5w30. My work has it on sale for $3.59/quart and I want to stock up but if there is better (I dont need synthetic, and its not a track care lol. just a DD)

I figured that any premium would be fine. I dont have a turbo to break it down

Waste of money IMO. Rotella Semi Syn T5 is $13 a gallon at Walmart.

Nothing will really harm your engine, but may as well get the best bang for the buck.

I will happily pay the extra $1.36 to not have to A) go to Walmart and B) not have to go anywhere extra

I just thought Id throw it out there before I stock up. I ordered a few of the OEM oil filters after reading the info on here and a Fumoto valve

I used to roll with the T5 in my old NA. My buddy with an '07 2.5i does the same. It gets the job done.

I'm running Wolf's head oil with a quart of Lucas, my motor seems to love it.
