Too bad that light is in that plastic area. Would almost suggest removing that part all together to raise the muffler. Looks awesome though!

I am guessing that I can raise the muffler and CUT-OUT the bumper cover and let the tips come out through, but I am not sure how to do this without having them touch the plastic part of the bumper. Any suggestions anyone?

Sti makes skirts to match the front spoiler. Don't know about the little wings for the rear apron.

Talking This is just for example purposes only!

The only problem is you would loose the REAR FOG if you go that route, there would have to be a better way?

If you don't mind losing that light in the center, could work out really well. Sucks the pipe coming directly out of the muffler had to be cut.

No not that pipe, but the one on the mid-pipe had to be modified, not the one coming out the BRZ muffler, that one is still bolt on. I will take pictures after the snow storm passes.

Check this out!

Thanks for the info jwjang31

That doesn't sound too bad then. Just not to get it confused, brz mid-pipe is not compatible with 2.0i?

Yes, that is correct! The mid pipe does not fit. The hangers are in different locations and the pipe bends are different. Also the flange on the BRZ is 2-1/4" and the 2.0i is 2" but don't quote me on the sizes, they are smaller than the BRZ muffler flange. I gotta get these pictures up.

Very nice. Love how you're posting all these pics! What I'm really curious about is what Subaru is going to do with the new WRX coming out. Supposedly they're going back to 2.0 engines. If they go on current 2.0i frames (hopefully hatchbacks) and maybe they'll come out with a new plastic piece that'll have cut-outs for a dual exit exhaust.

While I'm typically not partial to dual exit exhausts with a single inlet, I really think the dual exit looks great on the 2.0i hatch-back. I haven't seen a price on the muffler alone, but I think the Apex'i exhaust for the BRZ would look SO good on a 2.0i.

That could work! All you need to do is modify your mid pipe, and add a 2-1/4" flange to match up to the muffler. The hangers on that pictures are not in the correct places.

Cobblers you're right! lol Wrong exhaust. My b. Here we go. So far all I've seen is cat-back models, which run upward of $1k.

Yup that is about right, I am guessing with the BRZ mid pipe, attached to this Axel Back, you may be able to use it by reposition the hanger bracket on the mid pipe.

The snow melted away, so I am going to take some more undercarriage shots of the install. That is if I don't get stuck for overtime today.

I am going to see if I can bring the muffler up a little bit, by changing the hangers. Get it up there a little bit more tighter into the OEM hangers by the heat shield.
