Happened to have the camera in the car and drove by this view... didn't want to pass it up. Not sure if the execution worked. I feel like I could have gotten better results if I took more time to set proper settings. Oh well.

Dutch angles are really hard to make work. Also you cut the horizon right in the middle of the frame. Place the horizon in the lower thirds or upper thirds to compose the image better.

It's my favorite lens to use out in the field actually lol, well for Limerock at least since I was able to stand about 12-15 feet away from the clipping point.

I didn't end up making it... I drove all but 10 minutes away before I decided I was too sick and turned around. Had a 102 fever so it was probably better I didn't decide to go stand in the sun all day haha.

I shot the Grand Am race last year with a 50mm 1.8... that was interesting.

2nd day with the DSLR. I read quite a bit today on shooting manual mode so I decided to give it a try. Still researching a good tripod, that is next on the list.

All input and constructive criticism welcome. That's the only way to learn.

This weekend @ Forum Fest here in WA. I use a 60D, I wish I had used the 50mm instead. Could of benefited better pics.

The prototype cars really are amazing to watch. They blow by the GT cars like they're standing still.

I'm super excited for the Ferrari Challenge again... the sound they make is unreal.

It's on July 20th. It's a great time.

Little clip I took last year of them downshifting...

HDR filters are junk. Take multiple shots with different exposure each and merge them in PS. Makes a lot cleaner than the typical over saturated HDR filter programs.
