Not sure why there is an argument going on about photography facts.

You will not be disappointed. The focus system on the Mark III is lightyears away from the Mark II.

I had a 5D3 once already. I did not feel it was worth $3500. I was able to sell it and not lose any money.

I do agree with $2700.

I switched from Nikon at the time...so it was a better option for me than the D800.

I know it's like my other ones but it's a slightly different crop and a different editing style. Input is appreciated.

Canon 2Ti / 85mm f/1.8 w/ CP filter
PP w/ Lightroom 4

ISO- 400
Focal length- 85mm
Aperture- f/2.8
Shutter speed- 1/160

Your shots are getting better by a larger margin quickly...but can we see another car other than yours and this Civic? I do realize this is bad timing on top of the conversation that has gone on today...but I have been meaning to ask for awhile.

Your shots are getting progressively better and better...but a lot of that is getting lost in the fact that the subjects are the same.

I definitely agree with you there. I don't know a lot of people with cars worth taking pictures of and time is always an issue. I always end up shooting quickly after work before running home so it's never really a planned thing.

I am trying to expand and get the word out so I can practice as much as possible. This is what it's about for me at this point. I shoot as much as I can just to improve my skills. I'm trying to get a guy at work to bring his hot rod pick up truck, that would be bad ass.

Thanks for the compliments though, this is the only place that tells me if I'm going in the right direction or not. I'm always open to all advice and critiques!

I completely understand. Start trying to think outside of the conventional rules. Sometimes breaking them is just as good as following them.

I'm definitely going to try different things when I get the chance. I'm concerned with getting the basics down, and I feel I still struggle with the technical stuff. I think that my new 85mm has made a large improvement but now like you said, I just need more variety.

I'm waiting for the chance to shoot my brothers tracked out Yamaha R6. I've never shot a bike before and it would be a nice change of pace. The reason I started this thread was so there was a good amount of variety and people can see all sorts of styles and levels of photography.

Turn that wheel you silly WRB! I like that top pic 07Legacy, wish it was the front of the car though. But still looks good with the top of the bridge in the pic as well.

It gets a tad tedious seeing the same (pretty much) pics over and over again.
