Went and cut down our christmas tree here in eastern Idaho, turned out to be more of an adventure than we were expecting. Got stuck in some deep fluffy snow and had to help a 5.7L Hemi that stuck as well but we came back successful.

I love how youve swapped to everything subtle. Just such a nice car, but have you considered spacers to make the wheels sit more flush?

Are all of your shots with your 85? And its the 1.8G right?

Side note, I also love your car. A well done WRB is like my dream car right now.

1.8G is Nikkor, no? It's the 1.8 USM.

I have to get it, I think that will be my next pick up. Was going to save for a 70-200 but Im leaning to towards the 85 1.8G and now its time to start shopping.

The 70-200 is a fantastic lens. It depends what you primarily shoot though. I'm on a full frame body so the 85 is perfect. Even as a walk around lens. It was a little long on my DX body but still great.

Thats really nice, I was considering getting a 50 but picked up a 35 instead, I hated it and sold it almost immediately.

I've been really considering switching over to Nikon... I kinda sorta maybe want to go full frame and the D600 sounds way more appealing than any of the Canons in the price range, but I've never shot with one so it'd be a big learning curve.

Either that or I pick up a 5D MKII but then I'd want a 7D for track days. Sigh. At the very least I'll just ditch my 60D and get a 7D.

I have a d600 as does my girlfriend. I miss the pro body button placements of my d300 but the d600 image quality is insane. The buttons are just placed different (back of body instead of top left like I was used too). However it doesn't affect shooting really aside from the ISO button placement that took me a little bit to get used to.

I've never shot Canon aside from family members at get togethers or at the store. If you don't have an array of awesome canon glass I highly recommend a d600. Otherwise, canon has a great lineup also. You can find refurbished (both of ours are) d600 bodies online. Saw some on eBay the other day for $1,500.

Yeah I don't really have enough glass to warrant a mandatory stay with Canon. Everything about the D600 sounds good enough to warrant switching over since it even looks halfway decent at sports, whereas I'd need to get two bodies if I stay with Canon. The price is also great and I think I may like the feel/menu better... I'm not really too concerned about awkward button placement since I don't change settings with my face up to it anyways haha.

Nikkor lenses confuse the hell out of me, though. Seems like there are two or three versions of everything and lots of bizarre focal lengths...

There is typical D (older) versions and G (newer) versions. Just take some time reading about the difference and reading reviews. Play with them at stores and use your own judgement. I have my preferred lenses as does everyone else.

I think I might go for it... Nothing to lose, really. All of the reviews I've watched/read were nothing but good things. Guess I'll post up my Canon stuff soon ha.
