Nice set up. I have the same exact center piece on my tank.

Yeah, I've seen a lot in that price range but people are saying they aren't worth it. I only want to spend money once.

I paid about 80 for mine, and it's a SOLID tripod with good range of heights and even has levels built into it for side shots and level shooting. Only downfall is that it doesn't go super low.

The F4 is sharper that the non IS 2.8. I'd say your best bet is to save for the 2.8 IS if you can wait.

I wonder how it would be under a heavy set up like the 70-200 f/2.8

Maybe not pro gear, but certainly ones that will do the job taking stills of a car.

Rsw has some great shots there. Although, I'm curious as to one thing. Is that vignetting I'm seeing or does the image just look that dark on the edges? Maybe I'm seeing things. That second shot looks blotchy, like black patches all over the picture.
Love the locations though ![]() |

lol love the "in the field shot" Caption reads, The majestic STi in it's natural habitat. Watch as it stalks it's prey, the illusive Evo.
I do like the effect of the vignetting in your photo's, but I must admit it made a couple look funny for some reason. all in all, keep up the good work ![]() |

I was wondering where you have been. I haven't seen any of your stuff in a while. Looks good. I don't know why but I'm a sucker for vignetting. I like the style.

Thanks man! Those are older and I think it was the fist day I got my polarizer filter. I think if I went back and re edited them they could be better. I have learned a few things since then luckily.

I dont use tripods enough to buy another $1000 setup Im going to lose. Seriously, if I stopped losing lenspens, rocket blowers and tripods, I'd be able to buy a 1Dx. |

Lol yeah I hear ya. I don't use tripods all that often either so I can't really justify an $800-$1000 price tag.
