I paid 80 for mine, like I said before haha. it's a great tripod that supports my 300mm at full length with no issues. telescopic feature with great variety of height. I don't remember the name of it though, for some reason like prosport 800, or pro 800.

bought it from best buy even. only thing it doesn't really have is a super awesome ball head.

I very rarely shoot without a contract unless its a show (which I very rarely shoot now).

I just jumped the gun on release here.

You were at the BNW meet though.. I remember because the photo you took of my car at the autocross was my favorite out of all the ones I saw of my car. ;-)

This is the picture that got me the stamp of approval in Armin's thread. If any of you have been in there you know.... it's like photography boot camp!

28 in the silver RS..I'm the crazy person who drove down from Alaska, broke down in Canada , paid for a full top end rebuild in Seattle, and still managed to show up for the Autocross the next day. LOL

I was going to fly (I had planned on being in WA anyway to see family).. But found out about the meet the last minute and decided to drive so I could bring my car.

Next year I'll take the BRZ ;-)

Edit: PLUS I got a speeding ticket in Canada... Damn Canadian police!

This is my first time shooting in the "dark" and my 85mm wide open. I don't know how I feel about this yet. Any thoughts?

I like the pic but something about the shadow under the car just makes the pic look off to me. Can't explain it

Didn't really notice it but I guess its going to happen with very little light. I think its the fact that you can't see the back tire maybe?

INKMAN

maybe pull the shadows up in PP and the blacks. That would probably fix the detail issue under the car. or use the brush tool to brighten up that shadow a bit.

Alaska is taking over!! Rawr.

I know that silver WRX...I've photographed it before a while ago...

Subarus as far as you can see..way up front on the left...

And on the very end on the right of this one up near Hatcher's pass...

I can't wait for winter...sure I hate the cold but it's way more fun in the snow with a scoobie.

The front of the car looks a little strange to me..especially on the hood..it looks almost like a completely different tone of red? I like the photo overall though..crisp..clear..colorful. I'm easy to please when it comes down to it. haha.

... Does the fact that we only have 90 octane gasoline available change your mind? ;-)

Went to the track today. Conditions were horrible and I don't have the experience to deal with them. It was really dark and raining extremely hard at times but I managed to get a couple good ones. These were all taken with me 55-250. It was way too hard to keep switching lenses so I just rocked one and made it work. I have a lot so I'll post a little at a time.

This is only my third time shooting at the track.
