This thread is partially responsible for me upgrading to a DSLR and getting more serious about learning photography. Its been pretty cool so thanks all. I haven't done a car shoot yet but I've been shooting a lot of cars. Here are some.
Nikon D3200
Nikon 50mm

These 3 are on the kit lens

Photographically, this photo is disastrous. The truck is in focus, etc. This was more of a snapshot honestly. I parked my car just as any other day, but as I walked away I turned around for a double take. I just couldn't stop looking at it. I was mesmerized by it. I mean, it's my car. I see it everyday, but this time I just couldn't get my eyes off it. So, I grabbed the camera and snapped a quickie. Some of you may think this sounds really weird, and some of you may understand the emotion..

Absolutely understood. Even though my paint's not anywhere near the condition of yours.

As always, very nice!

The 85 is brilliant for cars. It's what I shoot my car with almost exclusively.

Speaking of the 85mm, just snapped these the other day. I have the Bower version of this lens and it is SUPER sharp. I just started using it again, and hasn't really come off the camera in the last week or so. Forgot how much I liked this lens lol
