Default Amazing

It is rare to take to time to create quality pictures these days with everyone snapping iphones and thinking they are photographers. These pictures are amazing.

You're right about that location! From what you said, I thought they were taken with an iPad for a second Not saying it's not capable of good pics though

I'm so unsure of the actual exposure, contrast, etc. depending on what screen I'm viewing on but I'd say bring the contrast down a bit in these pictures. I feel like it being that dark, you lose a lot of detail! Other than that keep experimenting with different angles, lighting and camera settings!

Saw those on your stream, my favorite car ever! Do you have another version of the 50mm to compare to your 1.2?

Love the edit. Looks like Kodak Gold 100+ Alt preset on lightroom. Really soft tones.

Mine?

It's a STi 330s.
I've just fitted the Genuine STi R205 rear spoiler too... and the side Black R205 garnishes as well

Still learning the basics. Decided to revisit this shot from last year I dug out of my "rejects" folder. I think it looks a little better than I first thought. Touched up in PS CS5, still getting the hang of that program as well.

Been posting it around a little gauging reactions. All constructive criticism welcome.

I like it!!

Just a few thoughts... Take them with a grain of salt, cause i'm a noob too.

I might have framed it with the car moved slightly backward so it's more centred on the bridge, then maybe pulled the camera back slightly to keep it roughly in the rule of thirds.

Then, maybe taken it early in the morning or late arvo to get that awesome golden hour light. That might help get a better exposure of the sky through the bridge supports, but may not really be needed cause it's a busy looking bridge anyway.

And finally, chuck a CPL on your lens to kill the reflections. You could do as Xluben does and do multiple polarisations to kill reflections on the front glass and side seeing as you have photoshop to do the layering/masking.

Other than that... It's a cool shot.

Anyone use any of these?

http://photography.tutsplus.com/arti...ed--photo-4227

Thinking of using a pay site to host pictures and be a little more professional looking. Have a few more portrait sessions to do this summer and my Flickr is pretty confusing to navigate I think and it looks cluttered already.

Great shot man. Good perspective point, good leading lines. The only thing i would have done differently, like mentioned above, provided you had enough room, is take a few more steps back to get more of the scene in the photo then move the car a tad to the left. My eyes might be deceiving me but the photo looks a tad crooked too. Otherwise good stuff.

Thank you and S2 for the feedback. All great things for me to keep in mind.

Being non centered on the bridge is why I didn't like the shot to begin with. Since this photo I have purchased a tripod and CPL filter to play around with.

As far as the distance, the original shot is actually farther away, I cropped it in cs5 with the "rule of thirds" overlay with the bottom left quadrant intersection pointing at the A pillar hood intersection. The 3200 being high megapixels helps me correct the distance or framing if I didn't quite get it right in person. Looks like is still need to work on it in post processing too haha.

Thanks again guys, only way to get better is practice and advice.
