OK good. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on one and it seems to have a decent amount of features for the price. Is flash photography a completely different animal or is it kind of easy to pick up?

Yeah I just saw them on there for $45. That's crazy cheap, almost scary.

as do I. Quick question, what is your way of getting your pics to Lightroom from your camera? I usually open in iphoto, then drag into a folder and I am not sure if thats hurting my images.

I load them on to the computer through the Canon software that came with my camera then I obviously open the folder through Lightroom.

Well that's what it pretty much does. It puts it right into a folder in My Pictures. It's just calls the Canon download manager I think

Strange. I've never used anything like that. Drag and drop in Windows.

I'm sure I could do it that way too. The program automatically opens when I plug in my camera and turn it on. I'm assuming this doesn't have an effect on things?

^Polarize the windshield. Reflections are the enemy, not the light

A friend of mine's R8. I am really starting to get pissed off at this car. Matte white is really hard to shoot on anything but dark backgrounds. I think I just might have to steal it and try different locations. He wanted shots of it in the shop...but it just isn't working for me.

edit: Photobucket isn't playing nice with this image either. Their compression made the lines look terrible.

So turn off some of the lights? Use a strobe to fill in whatever you want illuminated. I would have singled the car out. Unless he's going for the whole shop look. I suck at explaining ****
