It seems like the only things that are on sale are the entry level kits. Everything else seem to be regular price.

Ok, time for a couple more photos. Had a good day yesterday.

Was using my 50/1.4 w/ a +2 diopter on there ('cause I don't really have a macro and I've been using these for a few years now, getting decent results)

untitled-28 by Aspiratho, on Flickr[/IMG]

Switched over to the 70-200/2.8 for some compression.
ISO 200, 105mm, f/3.5, 1/160

ISO 200, 85mm, f/4, 1/50 - hand held with that big heavy lens, no less. Take a deep breath and be very still.

You can check to see if the d7000 is still $999. Last I checked it was over the weekend.

Recently just saw a canon t3i for 669 with two zoom lenses, the kit lens, and a memory card

Not a car, and no editing was done, handheld, but I thought these came out pretty cool as the light came through the window and hit the dog while she was sleeping!

Playing around with another one. I really think practicing my post processing has done a lot for my pictures. I was always afraid of the contrast and clarity sliders but now I think I'm getting the hang of it.

Canon T2i / 85mm f/1.8 / CP filter

1/80 / f/2.8 / 200 / 85mm

The new strobes that I bought are working out nicely. I have plenty of power to be able to shoot with a small aperture and still keep a low ISO. This is great for product shots where I want a lot of DOF. With the Speedlites I was always shooting at ISO800 or higher to try and let me batteries last a little while at least. ISO800 really isn't noisy to any noticeable degree, but it's always nicer to be able to be at ISO100 or 200.

Nice 400 watts is plenty. We have some ranger rx packs at the studio and they are amazing especially with the tt5 flex pocket wizards.

So portable and powerful.

How many heads did you get?
