Nice. I'm going to have to take a trip down there with the camera one day with the camera.

The 17-70 will be great. My 85 was awesome, but there's times I wish I had some inbetween but if I went back I don't think I would have brought anything else... maybe my 18-105 for picture purposes, not for much artistic merit.

A 10-20 will be cool at night for the tree, and times square, but honestly not much else. You're going to have a tough time getting some quality pictures of anything specific. Not to mention the insane amount of people surrounding the tree especially at night on a Saturday before Christmas.

Well it's not a "DSLR" but i shoot with a Sony RX100. it has a 1" sensor with a f/1.8 carl zeiss zoom lens and iso capabilities of 6400.

anyways, a couple of shots i took in my work garage. low light so i used either iso 1600-3200 and shutter speed btwn 1/20-1/60 just to keep some of the shadows. any tips would be helpful, thanks

Super old stuff, hence the annoying "watermarks"

No color combo is harder to shoot than black on white.

They do it every thursday night, im gonna go more often.

there were 5 GT-R's but all the owners were arrogant dicks so i didnt give them the satisfaction of taking pics of their car, except for this pic hhaha

Doesn't look like it's in focus? Could be better if the car was evenly lit as well

Obviously poor lighting, a little OOF, and you/the car is not dead center.

I know I am posting a lot of the same picture but I am looking for feedback. I shoot a D3100 with a 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G. I only messed with the expore, -.03, -.07 and then -.1
