Well if those have a bearing (dont think it does) the pully may need to be replaced. Those are pressed on.

Easy first step is to spray some wd40 around the pully to see if the squeak stops.

How many miles on it? I replaced mine around 98k miles.

How old is the belt? Is it a cheapo or a good brand?
If I heard it in person I could tell you exactly what it is. There's a number of reasons a belt can squeal.

Decided to take chance on this damaged JDM bugeye wagon lip. Came in today and it doesnt look as bad as the seller made it to be. Couple cracks and scratches. Hopefully I can get it fixed.

An addiction problem or a flat tire problem. Or maybe a menacing orange Focus problem.

On a different note, It's pretty cool to see the front of that car, and realize it looks just like mine only miniaturized. I like it a lot. I gotta find a 2-door Justy in white now.

Well I did not do anything to my car today, but my wife did. She ran in to the parking concrete stop and bent the radiator for my intercooler. It still works and gives me a reason to buy one that fits better.

Put in a radio, found previous owners stash tin behind the drivers side speaker but was empty, found 3rd gen Ipod nano shoved in steering column and it works. Wonder what else is stashed in my car?

That's kinda scary, don't you think?

Imagine that stuff being discovered in a random stop or a border crossing.

Yep...was thinking the same thing. If a narcotics sniffing K9 gets a hit in there, that car is going to get impounded and is coming apart.
