Can anyone add to or explain this? Every heard of or seen this happen??

Top of my intake manifold. Only running 25lbs of boost, thats when it popped off! Idle jumped to 2k and motor was whistling.

My fix was to smash it back in there. Prolly have it welded.

/\ it popped off.

Just set in place/\. I smashed it in there.

My new used wrx has a dragging front right caliper. Today's project rotors pads and hopefully freeing up the slides on that caliper.... Missed this on the test drive, as well as inop a/c and an intermittent air bag light. Oh well gotta love the lower 48 first parts store I went to had rotors and pads in stock for $100

Removed all the primer over spray off all the light assemblies, previous owner obviously didn't care about taking his time to mask anything off first.

I've been told that hood deflectors on a Subie with a hoodscoop is a big no no.

Visors are really cool, though.

I really wanted one for my Forester XT and WRX and everyone was like, "NOOOOO!!!!!" *shrug*

And now that I don't have a hood scoop... they don't even make one (officially).

Although apparently Scion Canada has them and they're ugly:

Do you haves reason for that? I understand the theory, but I don't believe that deflecting some very cold air away from your TMIC is going to adversely affect daily driving in the winter.

He has an FMIC anyway...

Oh good point!

I was TOLD that it's because the deflector pushes air up OVER the hoodscoop, so one lowers their performance potential.

And this was in person, not just over the Internet, so it's reliable...

Ya I hate when it rains and the water just pushes over the car into the window sucks when you have it down or open the door and the wipers are in sometimes I forget then the water just goes all over the place plus due to my hood being so chipped up no point in trying to put a clear armor on so hood deflector is the next best thing until I decide to buy a new hood or have the current one repainted

I've always had studded tires in the winters. I would just switch over for ice racing.

I won't be racing my daily driver door to door any longer. Lots of things in the works for me this winter. I will announce something when I have more concrete info.

Good luck to all the ice racers this season. It is a bargain for seat time.

Last week I ordered a new set of floor mats for my Legacy. Ordered from Amazon, $68.86 with free shipping. Got them today and installed. Here's some pics.

I picked up the biggest Amazon.com smiley box known to man at the post office this afternoon. It took up most of the back seat of my car.

All for this thin little box.

These mats are a lot smaller than my previous ones. They fit well, but there's a lot more carpet showing. I have some carpet shampooing to do. I will probably detail the whole car when my 2nd job ends for the season. No time to dedicate to it at the moment.

Driver's side installed.

Passenger side installed.

I can't say why I thought this way, but I assumed the rears would be included too I knew they wouldn't be, because I didn't order them. So, for reference, this part number is the fronts only. These are W52GR (grey color) for black it's W52

WeatherTech doesn't make DigitalFits for your car? I'm about to order me some. I heart WT.

Funny, that first pic of the Amazon box I thought, "That ninja better have purchase WeatherTechs..." Glad you didn't disappoint!
