Lol, mike I'm looking forward to reading your build thread I think it's going to be very interesting. You should get some video footage before and after the head work is like to hear the difference.

I thought you already had a build thread? Phoenix Rising or something profound and epic sounding, yet a little pornoey?

Ceramic coated headers would be nice! I'm looking at that as well. Definitely the only way to go, even if someone's car is just a daily driver.

Bro, you don't even know! They make LED lighting for the heater control button area that had the Mexican in me screaming, "HELL YEAH GET IT! DEM LIGHTS! YEEHAW!" Alas, I've tried to keep my mods a bit more tasteful.

I want to see a brz sombrero mod, big ol sombrero looking spoiler and Costco sized refried beans exhaust mod. Would be epic at autox, especially mid drift.

I had one up for a short time….thought the better of it and had a MOD take it down. This will be ….more concise.

The coating of the headers and turbo are smart moves…as is the heat dispersing paint on the intercooler. Heat should be kept inside the headers and turbo to keep those gases hot and flowing. Plus, if I went the other route and had fiberglass wrapped headers and up pipe to achieve the same effect….and say an oil line were to burst and soak the fiber…..well, lets just say it is a good recipe for a nasty fire. Burn a healthy investment to the ground real quick….and not be the least bit recoverable via insurance .

This car is slowly but surely being prepped for something more than a daily driver. I am not all the way there yet….but moving along at a good clip towards my intentions. All will be revealed in its own good time.

LED's are fine man….you want to attract that attention…I'm gonna do my best to stay stealthy as I can. I'm going more for the Millennium falcon set up…."she may not look like much but she's got it where it counts"!

I'll get nervous for you when you break out the curb feelers and the "La Cucaracha" Horn.

I think this is the most appropriate thread to ask this question:
I quite dislike the looks of the stock muffler on my 07 n/a, so I thought why not make some change to the exhaust...after researching the forums and youtube the conclusion was that the easiest, most feasible, and cost-effective way would be to get the oem sti axleback that should just bolt on to the stock exhaust. And it should cost just around $100. I'm not looking for any performance gains or any drastic changes to the sound. I realize that there will not be any signature rumble without uel headers. I also don't want the car to be loud at all. From what I read the sti axleback should make the sound just very slightly deeper. But the main thing is that it looks so much better than stock. Can anyone confirm that the sti axleback will in fact fit the stock exhaust on the n/a?

Thanks! I've been looking for simple things to customize my car by myself, though a bit of a pain to do, I really do like how it turned out.
