I dropped it off at Conti to have my trunk release and Service Bulletin engine chirp checked out. No rush, really, but I wanted them figured out sooner than later. The trunk stopped opening when I pushed the button on the remote or in the cab. I had to use the hidden key in the fob and in the trunk under the handle. Kinda lame, but it's a coupe, so how often do I need the trunk really? Glad it's happened now instead of during autox season.

The chirp thing is known and I've had it since I bought the car, but I wanted to wait until parts were more readily available so the car wouldn't sit around as long.

I miss it already.

Edit:

I think my trunk issue is just this stupid button.

URL probably sound a little underwhelming with that Cobb turbo back. Can't even remember what it sounded like with the old motor. Only ran it for 1min to get it in my driveway since I got the car back in June.

Oh yeah I had an alignment done too when they replaced the last one. I wish I could turn voicemails into audio files and forward them to people. This is a different boot and it's apparently "wear & tear". Not pleased to say the least.

Took the intercollegiate off? Added oil? Added radiator fluid? Put on bright red colors on a white car? Lol

And why are people still using that aftermaf hose? That thing collapses...

Wrong on all accounts sir. Installed the Cosworth/Crower engine and did first start up. Will be starting the break in this weekend.

And the hose only caves in if you have an crap filter installed.....think about it.

They "didn't hear a chirp." Apparently they didn't hear it on Kaitlin's either. I'm not worried about it. I can only hear it when I'm outside of the car while it's been warmed up anyways. It's not really worth the hassle, especially since they're not considering it to be a problem, really, just an annoyance for new owners.

Chirps. It's What Makes a BRZ a Subaru.
