Granny those rears look good in that pic.
Lets see...

Weight savings mods:

- RS coupe shell (expensive!)
- "Customized" front bumper beam - now it's partially aluminum and flows heaps of air for cooling purposes
- Anti-lightweight full race lower & DIY sch40 TS up-pipe...
- blah blah

Well, there's not much more I can actually do aside from tearing creature comforts out like insulation etc.

It was more like...
"I don't have anything I can do to this car anymore because I've done like everything" type scenario.

On a side note I ordered new headlight assemblies and set of projectors to retrofit

So, it's called a crash bar because it allows your car and possibly body to be destroyed in a crash? Unless you really need to shave fractions of a second off lap times at a track, I would never put that on my car.

rs coupe shells are heavy. l shells are cheap. i had one..... gutted

there are tons of diy stuff out there. but being in the 12v industry for as long as i have some things i guess i'm not willing to sacrifice.

davin for some people who run front mounts it is necessary to either cut the hell out of or completely remove it...that is an option to have something that's actually rigid and allows you to run a front mount. also factor in pressure on something round vs something square

Meh. I like my sunroof - it IS my daily driver. Might as well have the ability to make things fun when you drive every day

I thought I answered this in the first sentence. I was in a serious accident last year, had all of the safety systems not worked as intended I might not be alive. I would not go out of my way to put my life unnecessarily further in danger so that my daily driver could be a hair quicker. On a lessor level, the stock bumper might take the fall in a minor collision, needing only itself to be replaced. Whereas without it, the chassis and engine might be damaged, so it doesn't seem economical either.

Hush! NA all the way, gaijin!

Thanks for the weight. That's not terrible, I guess. Custom exhaust will lose me about 9 lbs at least.
