Hopefully within the next couple weeks. Our garage space is tiny and currently being shared with the snowmachines. So that and me being busy is why progress is slow.

No codes. My idle just doesnt stay firm when i put my foot at whatever rpm i choose. It will bounce up and down. Only at idle never while driving. Or coasting with clutch pressed but tranny in gear it will go up and down around 500rpms.

Check your front a/f sensor and I'd clean your MAF anyway, every time I've had any issue with my IACV it always threw a code and it would also cause issues while drive as well

Do you feel it surge at all while cruising at light throttle? Check for intake leaks or vac leaks first, establish that all the basics are good. A mismatched or aftermarket MAF tube (intake) can cause the trims to go a little whacky as well.

The car is most likely trimming fuel but its happening in larger amounts then the computer can deal with well, its over correcting then under correcting and recycling perhaps. If you are able to check your AFR with a wideband you can log your front O2 sensor and compare to see if they read the same then you can rule out a front O2 failure.

Some basic logging and a learningview.exe screen shot would be helpful to see a little of what is going on and what the car is learning to do over time.

It is somewhat common for the front O2 sensor to go in this fashion around 70k-90k or sooner if the car has been on fuel additives that contain certain chemicals. If the sensors were not $200+ it wouldn't be so bad to just swap it but its usually better to make sure first.

BTW -- Simply disconnecting the front O2 sensor may make your problems seem to go away but this by no means 100% determines a bad sensor. It just makes the ECU blind to the engines AFR and it simply stops trimming fuel(probably the cause of your rev bounce).

It's a bad front HO2.

While driving every things is fine. I have a aem wideband and all is reading normal. Im gonna clean the Maf and change the oring on the iacv on wednesday and will log some if problem persist. The car is over 100k now and most likely the stock front o2 could be bad. I have no rear because i have the wideband.

Thnks guys

Log the front O2 sensor AFR and as long as you don't have a catalytic converter in front of your wide band the two sensors should read very close to the same numbers. If they do read the same numbers then the front O2 sensor is NOT the issue.
