Considering picking up steelies to save money on tires. Seems silly to buy something like this new, but how do I know they fit? There's plenty on CL but they just say 5 hole, are most 5 hole steelies 5x100? And with such a high offset does having a hub bore or whatever just not matter?

Look for someone whose selling their newer stock Subaru steelies. I catch it every so often, especially now with winter approaching you'll get those people that have since sold/totaled their cars during the summer.

Not looking for used or studded tires, just the wheels. From some quick research, as far as I can tell, most Subarus from 1990 up are 5x100 with the same bore size.

I apologize residents of Anchorage/Eagle River/Valley.

I put new shingles on my roof about a month ago. Ever since then, it's rained almost every day and we've had horrible wind storms.

Mother Nature wants those shingles off. LOL

I'm putting this here because i didn't want to clutter up the P.O.S. Build thread.

So where do the post 50k members, prior 2007 members fall if we aren't considered Old school, nor new kids on the block? Also not a Guru but has trophies? Car isn't a 3gen nor a bug-eye? I'm feeling a bit left out over here

Working middle class?

Shingles are old school. Next time plasti dip your roof, holds up better to wind.

probably the often overlooked middle child syndrome….but You're golden in my book Eric!

You are quite missed at the events. Hope to see you at the ice racing events this winter. We need to get you back into the swing of things.

Talked with Shaggy at AkSubie's shin dig this past weekend between pulls on the Tennessee sippin' whiskey. He has plans in the works to get two big night events like the one we did last year. One of the best times I've ever had in cars. All those in attendance had an absolute blast.

Ok, I was giving people **** for freaking out about these windstorms.

This **** is getting out of hand. A lot more trees down and debris everywhere. I literally chased my garbage can down the street.

And my driver side wiper arm flipped up on my way home today. Like seriously lifted off my windshield. Add that to having to keep the top of my steering wheel at the 2:00 position during some of the gusts. That **** cray.

I had my driver's side window pop out of the frame while driving across the Palmer Hay Flats in similar winds last year. Fortunately, it didn't bust the glass. This is getting pretty crazy.
