I would never use any other store if I had one at my disposal. Napa and O'Reilly's suck.

car isn't on factory risers it has sti spoiler now..
car had 17's on it...
car didn't have blacked out tails...
car didn't have blacked out headlights...

on top of the fact that the car is no where finished all your points are invalid.

this is the car AFTER i put the cf trunk struts springs and lip on...

Man... you guys really just fish for such pointless arguments. People refer to past owner history all the time here, comes with living in such a small place. Doesn't mean anything about what has or has not changed. When someone has been fairly involved within the community it's to be expected.

Argue about something more important like cake vs pie. Or which winter tire people are having a preference for this season.

Like I said, and btw you posted a pic of the car before he did anything to it... I don't care. You and your circle jerk buddies just can't seem to get that through your heads. I'm not the only one who sees a car and remembers whos car it was instead of who's car it is.

How many times do I see in the "Who was That" thread. "Saw a blah blah" and someone respond with "Oh thats so and so's old car." No one gets butt hurt like fresh blood in the prison showers like you and gabe did over it my comment. And my comment was not to take away anything you have accomplished with that car. I simply stated that was Justin's old car. Which regardless of how you look at it, it ****ing is ok?

So deal with it.

Does anyone have any preferred wheel cover designs that they've seen around town that they'd like to see painted/plasti-dipped? I'm thinking that Blaze Blue color. I'm not sure on how full-faced I want to get.

Point me in the direction of any 16" wheel covers.

Edit:
Maybe these: http://www.walmart.com/ip/16-BW-Allo...Cover/16645559

Edit: "Not available in Anchorage"

I think painting the wheels themselves will look a lot better.

If I'm painting the steelies themselves then I'll just start with straight up black paint and gloss finish. Scrub them to DEATH first.

Where are you getting that from?

On your topic, wheel covers are surprisingly expensive for what they are. I would omit them and stay cheap with the steelies.

I saw that you were looking around and was thinking of either going half on a reasonably-sized shipment or just going to the stores that the plasti-dip site recommended (CarQuest, NAPA, ACE Hardware and Home Depot).

I haven't seen the prices of the covers. I guess "raw dawg" steelies would work just fine. I'm not trying to impress anyone and they're temporary anyways.

My train of thought, since the wheels are on for half the year, might as well spend a little to make them look decent.

What do you guys think of the 2014 Forester? I still like the 2nd gen the best. I like this one better than the current model. But I'll have to see it slammed or something to make it look aggressive. It just looks too bland. Wasn't that part of Subaru's previous campaign? The one with "Mediocrity"? No more beige.

Here's the post I'm referring to.

While in CO talked to the guys at clubrsx, got hooked up on parts shipped up to AK sans shipping fee. Found a set of wheels for my dad's tundra for dirt cheap on Craiglist and beat everyone to them, less than an hour of being posted, and ordered some winter wheels for the Pilot and set up an appointment for an Autostart. Also swapped out my brother's EVO summers over to winter.

Anything is better than the rustoleum rims you've got on that 2wd winter beater you are driving now.
