Found out how good I had it with Star Specs.

Put some brand new General AS-03's on the Evo and gave it hell in a U-turn today....let's just say I haven't heard a howling like that in a long time.

I'm gonna miss those things. Maybe once I get settled in at my next base. I just didn't want to put worn-down Star Specs on and drive from St. Louis in the beginning of December.

Sidewalls on Star Specs are badass too. They were pretty squared off. These Generals are rounded and look balloon-y.

I'm looking to change my trans fluid on my 06 Sti, where is everyone getting their trans fluid and what are you guys running in your cars? I got the stock LSD fluid for the rear but don't know what and where to get the right stuff for the front.

This should be all you need for yours...

6 Speed transmissions take 4.1 quarts 75w90 Weight - GL-5 (Extras-S)
6 Speed Rear differentials take 1.0 quart of LSD Fluid

So I recently updated my Nasioc App to the latest version on my ipod touch, and now threads don't display correctly. For example; long posts sometimes overlap someone elses post in a thread, clicking on a thumbnail takes me to the HTML version (I think) of that persons post, the "Previous Page" and "Next Page" buttons at the bottom of threads are now blank, etc. None of this happened before the update. I tried deleting the app completely and then re-downloading but that didn't work at all. Any help?

Couple OT questions for those of you that are cellphonephiles. I've got the iPhone 4. (no S, no 5) and have been enamored with my friends SG3. I like SOME things about it, but also prefer some things about the iPhone over it. And of course, after updating the girls Windows phone, its a pretty slick machine. So contemplating.....

-Those running the SG3, how they are really holding up? I've heard the build quality isn't all that great. Easily broken screens, backs falling off, etc..
-How are OS updates going for you on the SG3? I found on the Android developers page that only ~5% of devices are running the latest OS. Is the SG3 updateable, or am I stuck with Jellybean casserole? Some say its the carriers "fault"? I dont know, but sure seems strange given Android is touted as being "open".
-How is the SG3 in compatibility with iDevices? In essence, I have an Alpine x305. Would it recognize the SG3 and allow me to scroll to music?
-Those that bought one coming from the iCamp, would you do it again or stick with the i's?

I have to say, I'm actually pretty impressed with the new Nokia W7 as well. Oddly enough, MS has provided a program to allow seamless syncing with iTunes.

It all boils down to a few things.
1) are you currently happy with the iPhone?
2) what features did you like on the other devices, and can those features be brought to the iPhone?
3) what do you do day to day with your current phone that can't be done with a different device?

When the gs3 first came out I almost jumped on it. But my friend works at AT&T and STOPPED me from getting the phone. The kid has known me for YEARS and said to me that as cool as the gs3 seems to me and how much better it is than my current phone, that I should wait for the iPhone 5 to come out because he KNEW what I wanted from a phone.
He then asked me those questions, and low and behold it matched the iPhone 5.
Cause for the key things I love are:
The build quality and how HEAVY the phone is. I love it, it's doesn't make me feel like I'm playing with a toy
The camera - it's almost unmatched
Music integration with my current products - I'm an avid iTunes user as well as already have a bunch of iPhone friendly devices, including my car
Style - it's simple, sleek, and sexy
Software - although "locked" it's a solid running OS and is pretty customizable now. Plus amazing app support

Just step back and think about it.

Yeah, I've been researching, stepping back, toying with them at stores, etc. All since getting the girl her WP7 phone. Quite honestly, I'm content with the iPhone, sans the damn map app (hence why I haven't updated the iOS yet). But seeing the SG3 up close it is appealing, in some ways like that shiny new car on the showroom floor. It's new, different, you want it, etc... BUT... nothing is REALLY wrong with what you have.

I'll probably wind up waiting on the 6s, or see what the new WP8 looks like.

Good points right there. One reason I like my Samsung Focus WP7 is because it prevents me from getting TOO involved, which might sound kind of odd. Although I'm on NASIOC and other forums frequently, it's mostly because I'm at an office all week and it's chill. After I leave it can be hours before I see what's going on. If I had an app then it would be much worse.

Sometimes I wish I could play games with my friends, but I get distracted enough as it is. Currently all I really want is more memory, better support and a much, much better camera. Current phone is just not cutting it. I really want to give WP8 a try, though, when it comes out next month. I like being different, but I really don't think Windows will be able to keep this up much longer unless they make a REAL breakthrough. I love their layout, it's very clean and organized, but they're just doing pretty good instead of doing anything mind-blowing.

I have an iPod Touch 64GB for all my media, and I'd like to keep it that way, which is why the iPhone has had less appeal. I really do not like having everything all in one spot. The SG3 looks the most promising to me, but by the time I finally decide to jump on board, I'm sure I'll be too late and the SG4 will have already been announced. I like Mr. Rich's idea of getting an unlocked international one. Maybe it's about time to get my hands dirty.

Yeah, I unfortunately played the OG iPod and cell phone game and prefer them being one these days.

Actually, the Nokia is something you should look into Chano. The girl had a Focus WP7 like yours prior to the her new Nokia. The Nokia is almost like a bigger iPhone running WP7, with it's fit and finish. Would be interesting what changes WP8 will have.

While MS hasn't made huge breakthrough's, I do think they have made a calculated stab. The layout is clean, uncluttered, easily navigable, offering seamless syncing with Zune program, and embracing those prefering iTunes by offering an application so teh WP7 can sync seamlessly with that as well. Something I have found difficult to find for the Android brethern.

As I tend to keep my phones longer than a couple years, I'd prefer them be durable and upgradeable/updateable. This is what "bugs" me when I read about the Android OS.
