just got introduced to the walking dead television series this Christmas weekend.
Don't know if it's been brought up before, but being a fan of Spartacus and zombie movies, I'd recommend it. Watched season one, first three episodes in a row, kept me well entertained. The zombies look very cool, might i add that the main cop guy goes into this desterted city then turns a corner and theres like thousands of zombies... they see him and just surround him.. this freaked me out bad..

Best series on TV, in my opinion. Season two gets a bit bogged down in character development but it sure picks up steam at the end and into season 3.

Great writing in this show.

I'm a big fan. The PS3 game (download) is freekin' awesome too. Not a traditional first person shooter, but your choices determine the storyline. Very different feel to it. It won all kinds of honors this year at the industry awards.

I tried as hard as I could to make it through even the first season but it was WAY too slow for my ADD.

The WHOLE SEASON could have been done in 1-2hrs if all the stupid drama was cut out of it.
Don't give a crap if some kid decided to run off, etc, etc. I just want to see zombies get mauled!

The second season was too much of a soap opera, but I'd say that and Dexter are my favorite series.

I understand the complaints, but the emotional investment made the second season revelations SO worth it! Give it another shot, guys. Things really pick up in the last couple of episodes of season 2. I'm salivating for an opportunity to watch Season 3!

I love Dexter, but the 4th season got bogged down with family. With that being said, I'm very eager to pick it back up now.

Agree with Chano.

At least watch the last episode of season 2 before giving up. I mean really.

The opening of season 3 is the real deal for Zombie mauling.

FYI Dean's Automotive takes used oil for no fee. I gave them 5 gallons of used motor oil today. Their shop is on 7th Ave and Karluk

So does Jerry. He owns the Shell station on the corner of Boniface & Debarr. Heats the shop with a waste oil furnace.

That's my favorite Shell, especially now. It's down the street from my house and cashiers have always been super nice and helpful there.

Really? I have gallons of oil sitting at my place. Do I just bring it by or call ahead?

I just bring it by, but I've known Jerry for 10+ years. Probably wouldn't hurt to give him a call. 360-3654 is his #

Damn great guy.

Wish he'd actually ran for President. I think it would have been a landslide victory.

And I sure like imagining where this country would be with his kind of kickass leadership. I know he is in a better place.

Windows 8 really is a bad os! Purchased two new laptops, Acer Aspire M Ultrabooks, for my wife and myself this Christmas and for two hours I tried to like the os but every bit of me was screaming wtf. So I took mine to Pyramid Computer and had them install Windows 7 for me to keep my sanity. Wife didn't want hers to be converted but I'm sure in a few weeks time she will ask me to install Windows 7. Windows 8 for tablets sure but for laptops and desktops it should be illegal in my opinion anyways.
