Just an FYI for anyone one who cares. Every time I go to best buy to pick something up, I always check their website and find that it's cheaper and yes they do price match.

Good point! I've noticed that in the past, and remembered it at the Diamond store last week. Blew some xmas gift cards on an AV Receiver and had them price match a weboutlet, although noticed their instore "sale" price I was higher than the standard price online.

A lot of retail stores are this way, being Alaska and all. Usually worth checking, as long as you don't mind being 'that guy'. Generally you need to print the page out though, as opposed to trying to show them on your phone.

Nah, I just show them my phone. It is their website after all. Why waste the ink.

Petco turned me down for that once. I'm glad we have Petsmart down here, they seem much better.

Go to PetSmart. They price match and take competitor coupons too. I can't tell you how many times I've used Pet Zoo/Animal Food Warehouse coupons there.

Actually, at least at Best Buy, the salesman said they are "required" to check the price online, rather than trust a printed page. Guessing so the photochop wizards can't manipulate the price below what it actually is online.

As such, and perhaps I got hosed as I usually shop at the muldoon store, but the guy at diamond claimed they also "need to add on what it'd cost to ship it here". WTF.. that isn't "price matching" in my book, and they've never done that before. Ticked me off, but the deal I got via price matching, including the ~$40 shipping, was still nearly 1/2 price what they were charging anyway.

For those interested, NAPA has engine stands on sale for $100.00 this month. Headed there now.

They don't necessarily have them in the retail stores. They have to be picked up from the warehouse on arctic between 8-530 pm. Otherwise you have to pay first and arrange for it to be delivered to the retail store. The dowling location stays open till 8pm.

Naw, off a competitors website. Some BS about price matching for what I'd really have to pay to get it. IDK, never had the issue/problem/BS with muldoon store employees, so probably some Diamond store BS. Sale price was damn good even with shipping so I just cut my losses, and reminded myself why to avoid the Diamond store.

It depends on who the competitor is and how well experienced the employee is. New employees don't understand what they should and should not price match, so many times they'll just be okay with anything. For BestBuy.com yes you only need to show their website with your phone, no need to print out anything. You'll honestly have a different experience at either store location, just depends on the department and who's working when. I had plenty who would only come to Muldoon when I worked there and then there's others who only go to Dimond.

If you guys want another tip you have the ability to negotiate services and such when you buy package deals as well. Say you pickup a tablet, screen protector, case and black tie warranty. You can easily work something out with either free protector installation, OS+apps setup, additional free accessories, price discount overall and what not. Especially during the dead seasons, they want your business. I threw a lot of people package deals from mobile and computers. Throwing in free cases, installation + setup and so on.

I'm a Alaska Mills and Feed fan myself because of the healthier products they offer for my dog. I only wished I didn't have to drive all the way to the docks to get supplies. Anyone know if they do any price matching/take coupons? I've never really tried or even bothered to check to be hoenst. Surprisingly Costco carries a really good rated dog food now as well.

I go to Petzoo(The Alaskan owned one?) for things like pig ears and bones. Toys I seem to end up just buying on Amazon.com for the most part now. Each time I find a toy my lab likes they discontinue carrying it at all local locations, so I have to hunt it down online.

Well since we're on the subject, are there any local places that make cat trees? I need a really big one that will last.

You can rent them from places like Oreillys and Napa. Not the greatest ones but for light duty work they are ok.

I've already read up on it, I was just wondering if anyone could tell me if my engine can take the power, or if not what do I have to do to have my car withstand the power.

Sell your Impreza and buy a WRX.

Everything I've read about adding turbos and superchargers to N/A's is that the costs associated with proper modification equals the price of the turbo models.
