Thanks for giving me a proper response instead of talking like a redneck and being an ******* about it.

Continuing this from the Who was that thread.....

The Evo community and amount around in general dropped because many of the IX owners (Stanley didn't get many 8s) were military. After the large deployments lots of people came back with big pockets and Stanley jumped on that opportunity. Since the IXs came out over 6-7 years ago, many are back home or stationed elsewhere. Obviously that isn't the case with all the owners but it is for a large portion of them. If any of those dealers are still around in town you can ask any of them. They didn't budge on their high IX mark ups for the simple fact of they knew they could convince someone who just came back to spend the money. It was the biggest rip off I've ever seen from a dealer in this town as well. You could easily save 5-8k without blinking just by ordering from South Coast Mitsubishi.

With the lack of any Mitsubishi dealership in Anchorage it's obvious why the X's are few and far between but there used to be a lot of the IX's around, no where as much as before. That's also why Evo's in general have an above NADA value here in AK, just harder to find one for sale. (least well taken care of) Steelfire is right that there are a few around on the Evo forums but many don't really seem interested in joining the AKIC meets. I consider AKIC not just a Subaru community but an emphasis on AWD with a mix of a better version AKMS. Why some won't join? I have no idea, maybe the rivalry thing... not sure.

Was actually wondering seeing how creative people get. Haven't decided what mine will be when I get a car if I get a frs it'll be something like ft86. Evo wrxklr. Just seeing what people have done.

I was thinking "D4SBXR". I usually try to pick something that pertains to the car, not the driver. WRX was "ROARIN". STI was "ITSSTI". RS was "2PT5RS". Forester was "08FSXT". I did have "BNANAS" for a bit.

Default Roommate.

I'm too tired to make a thread right now with all the details, but my wife and I are looking for a roommate. Could include one OR two small rooms and a heated garage spot. Has washer/dryer, dishwasher, ext. Nothing final but most likely looking for around $700, plus half of gas and electric, which doesn't appear to be much. Add another $50 if you want your own cable box in your room, and we will cover the internet. I would rather not have to find some random person from craigslist...

New thread would be more effective fo sho. I hope you find a good one that loves cats!

If you do Craigslist then pick a nerdy college kid with a nice GPA.

Any on here ever had their intercooler hot tanked? I want to clean not just outside but the inside aswell. I have done some research, and the main method used for self cleaning was running gas through followed by soapy water. Has anyone had experience with either of these methods?
