Same. What's left of my Jeep isn't road legal. Never been hassled around here, but I'm sure APD would have a field day if I drove it to Los Anchorage

My God it's beautiful outside of Alaska! Even Yukon Territory was inviting!

So many nice cars down here. Douchebag Subaru drivers too, worse than most of us in Alaska. Seattle has the fastest Outback drivers I've ever seen!

No snow on the ALCAN? One of the friends drove it last week and they had to sit out a blizzard.

Yeah it was bad earlier and on Saturday my family had delays coming up to the border. I picked the perfect window!

After disappointing myself this last weekend at the autocross and After reviewing the footage. I can see how out of practice I am. I decided to bust out the old GT5 and steering wheel to get back in shape. Lol

I parked across the street from my apartment complex but it's public parking still so no idea why the cop was being an ass. On another note I took off my HIDs

I vaguely recall this law being mentioned in the past. Something about you can't block a mail box and must keep clear a certain area. This also goes for snow removal, which I believe where I heard it from... you must keep 10ft clear at the mail box or no mail delivery and possible fine. Pretty ****ty. I guess one benefit to living in an area with cluster boxes. Only need to worry about 1-2 locations versus every single house.

I got a ticket once from being to far parked away from a curb. 15inches was the minimum.

"KODIAK, ALASKA A man involved in a deadly Kodiak street race will serve five years in jail

The Kodiak Daily Mirror reports (http://is.gd/TUdg5U) 22-year-old Markryan Portillo was sentenced Monday after earlier pleading guilty to criminally negligent homicide and assault. He was charged in the October 2011 death of 19-year-old Austin Van Long.

Police say William Mecham and Portillo were engaged in a high-speed street race across Fred Zharoff Memorial Bridge when the accident occurred. Long was a passenger in Portillo's vehicle.

As the two vehicles drove side-by-side across the bridge, a truck tried to cross the bridge in the opposite direction. Mecham swerved to miss the truck but hit Portillo's vehicle.

Mecham also received a five-year jail sentence in the death."

Street racing is bad m'kay!

Anyone know of a place intown that repairs floor jacks? I've got an older Sears 2 ton bulky thing, that wont pump up (worn seals?) and an aluminum Harbor Freight jack that'll pump up but wont stay up.

I'd like to fix the aluminum one before I plunk down for yet another jack.

I thought craftsman products had a lifetime warranty.

Buy from costco, no fuss warranty for life. Just bring it back and get another one off the shelf.

They aren't hard to pull apart and put new seals in, just sometimes parts aren't available.... more so on the cheaper stuff. As for having a shop do it, it will probably cost more in labor than a new jack. Costco has nice low-profile ones for about $130.

Craftsman warranty is for hand tools.

See if you can get a seal kit for it and rebuild it.
