im not going say that he didnt do anything wrong, but when it comes to buying a modified car, from a young teenager at that, whats going to be the first thing that comes to mind? Sure, when it comes to the cheaper project cars you might no go into that deep with inspecting the car, but when your about to blow $20,000 on a moddified car, price over book value, are you just going to go around the block and call it good?

Because it can be deleted and no longer viewed.

And because some people have craigs blocked at work.

Hit it on the head. If someone bought a performance car from a teen without having it gone through then that's his problem. Not saying it's right for him to not tell the person that something was wrong (which we don't know he knew something was wrong) but the guy should have had it checked out.

Others have the experience to know otherwise and go through inspections. However, there are people new to the scene that feel the buyer is friendly to them, knowledgable in a line of cars they're unfamiliar with and have a good heart. For the most part being taken advantage of like many places you go to buy a new car.

It's less of that being the issue and more of the bragging afterwards.

He's paid for his immaturity and learned some hard lessons. He's put time and money into this car, getting things done right... I say good luck with the sale.

Hi All,

I have decided to sell my '99 2.5RS. overall good condition

It's in good shape for the miles/year. Mechanically sound. All scheduled maintenance including timing belt has been done.
Mileage is currently 124k. Fantastic car, I've been using it as my daily driver. It's fun to drive and gets decent mileage. Averages about 25mpg over city/highway.
Don't really want to sell it, I enjoy driving it and it's in good shape. But could use the extra money to pay off some debt.

The bad: Inside it has a scratch on the glove box, and the passenger side door handle is worn. Exterior of the car is clean except the front right fender has scuffs, that should buff out as it's not into the paint.(see pic) And slight hail damage that you have to be like a 1ft away from to see, couldn't get good pic of it.

Only mods are an exhaust/headers.
Also has the OEM subaru wind deflectors for the hood and around the sunroof.
clean title, no accidents

transmission fluid/rear diff fluid replaced within 1500miles
all four brakes and rotors replaced within 3500miles
manual transmission, no grinding.

$7500 obo

CLEAN AND LOW MILES. STI. Appropriately priced too.

p.s. trying to follow Ralph's lead and not post the whole ad but just the link. we'll see how this works out. Hopefully it won't get deleted.

A true monster of a car, built right, by the right people, at a bargain price.
