Some people work 12's or a swing & mid shift and don't necessarily have time to do it during work. I'm guessing he works in a office where it is easy to leave work to do that or they only have a day shift operation. Prob a miss understanding.

Flight line people call these guys "noners" (pronounced: Non-ers). Which means they aren't necessarily workers who contribute a good deal to the overall mission.

Its a flight line thing lol

Cause why would they panic? according to Rusty us folks in alaska are wimps and freak out over weather conditions. And here I got lower 48er's prepping their bomb shelter cause the power went out for a few hours, canceling appts in the hopes of finding an open store to buy some ice. All I did was look outside my house. Fence there? yup. Direct TV dish there?

I survived the big black out in 2003.
No power for a day and a half in HOT weather. Beers, bbq and sex haha.

didn't buy ice.

I see this as a dig toward Rusty I'm military, and a life long Alaskan and take no offense to this.

Had this weather system been in the Midwest, we would have seen tornados, if it was in the southeast(FL) it would have been hurricanes. But alas it was Alaska, I take that back, Thankfully it was Alaska where we have unique climate to where it doesn't get that bad. You lower 48's can have all that ****, I'd rather not have to worry about evacuating my city for some crazy tornado or hurricane every few months.

Pssst.. for tornado's we retreat to the basements, not out of town.

but agreed on better than hurricanes forcing evacuation. Although its tempting when the rest of the year is nice and warm and mild.

Right, misunderstanding, the panicking thing is silly. But I am actually a bit concerned at this point as our power apparently is not expected to return today and Tuesday evening right before it went out we bought over $300 of food at Costco.

People that have been raised with frequent power outages (I.e. people from and who have lived in tornado alley) know what it's like to be without power....so it wasn't that big of a deal other than having to shave and shower using my iPhone flash as a source of light.

Obviously these morons have never been without power for extended periods of time.

I remember one winter in Indiana we had an ice storm that knocked power out for two weeks. We used one of my dad's antique 40 gal crock as our refrigerator outside.

Growing up in East Anchorage we came to expect an outage at least once a year. You get used to them. Right now the only thing we've lost is half-eaten ice cream. We're probably gonna cook a bunch of eggs tomorrow for dinner while they're still good. Our stove can still be used, just not the oven.

Candles rock.

What makes me LMFAO:

Helping out a broken down Evo on the side of the Glenn, and the dude was gawking over how clean my Evo is and how I have a completely different interior, etc etc.

And I'm gawking over his giant turbo, coil pack setup, giant intercooler, etc. etc.

His car was beat the hell up, but it definitely could hand my Evo it's ass if it's properly tuned. I just thought it funny the fast as hell dude was complimenting my clean car, and the clean car owner was complimenting the fast as hell dude.

Hooked the dude up with some plugs and he was on his way.

I don't get it, maybe it's a language barrier thing. Is it just about dancing? Jeff wouldn't shut up about it today.

Its about the city. He relates it to beverly hills here. Its about the city gangam dress style. He went to college in the US and speaks english. Been making music since 2000.

Sheltered Child.

It is: OK! ForkYouToo!

Fork being the PC way to get by the DMV swear filter.

Though I didn't get a picture, there is also PHKOPH out there.

?? Oh, I thought it meant, "okay for oxygen" being funny because it's a truck. I wasn't sure if it was an "O" or "Q" after the 4.
