Default Will a 2004 Forester xt hood Fit on a 2001 Forster?

Hi, My forester recently got backed into by a lifted truck so my hood is bent out of shape. I was wondering if a 2004 xt hood will fit in becuase I was looking into the future to convert this and drop a wrx engine in it.

No they are way different. You can look into getting a Forester GT hood. Its jdm and has a scoop like the XT. May be able to find one on ebay.
