Default would i need spacers or need to roll..

So im looking to get some 17 x 8 +40 rims and probably throw 225/40 size tires on my 02 wrx. Just wanted to know if i would need to roll the fenders or get some spacers? Also lowered a bit on springs.

225/45 and that would be getting close to rubbing in the back if it is low

a set of camber bolts would fix that

Does anyone know how some 17x8 +38 with 225/45 tires would fit on my bugeye. You think i would need to do camber bolts with a roll or small spacers...

Spacers would push the wheel out even more, so no you don't need spacers. You would need to roll the rear.
