Default Tune for TGV deletes

Currently have AP with a Stage 2 E-tune from John when he was at Cobb (Now at Akuma) - PNP exhaust manifolds and Xpipe.

I was going to do TGV deletes and maybe an intake manifold from GS before I go and do a turbo upgrade as my stocker TD04 is working just fine. I like my current tune right now, but I know I will need to tune for the TGV to get rid of the CEL, otherwise it goes to limp mode.

I would rather not spend alot of money on a new tune just for TGVs and then again when I do a turbo in the future. Is it possible for myself or a tuner to just shut the CEL and not tune for the TGV for now? I realize that I will not get the maximum returns for now, but the returns are greatest with a larger turbo, later.

Any opinions?

It is possible to defeat the CEL related to TGV codes with the AccessTUNER software (v2 AccessPORTs - current version with color screen). If the map is saved in Pro format, then only the original tuner's key will be able to open and modify the map. If this is a v1 AccessPORT (black brick-shaped device), then a tuner with a Cobb Pro key would be able to use a special version of AccessTUNER that supports opening and saving v1 maps. This software is only for maintaining v1 maps and represents a very old version of the tuning software. But, it is sufficient enough to disable DTCs and do minor maintenance on a v1 map.

Thanks. Its a Version 2 AP and John did the e-tune when he was at Cobb. I will check to see if it was saved in pro format.
